Probability experts try to tell us that the results of the lottery are purely random. Technically, they are correct - over the life of the lottery. However, probability theory conveniently overlooks that the 649 lottery would have to run for 130,000 years or more before the results show signs of normalizing. In other words, in 130,000 years or so, probability "purists" will end up being correct. In the meantime, let me offer you this comparison. Consider the weather. It has periods of cold, heat, high winds, heavy rains, drought, hurricanes, and everything in between. Not unlike what the lottery people claim...that all tickets have the same opportunity of occurring and that all 'best guesses' are equal. Here is where my argument begins. The lottery has a 'lifespan' of over 130,000 years...in other words, things will indeed begin repeating in 100,000 years or so. Wednesday's draw outcome, or Saturday's draw outcome is a mere blink of an eye in the life of this lottery...indeed a year of lottery results or even 10 years of results are a mere blink in terms of the 130,000 years it may take for the results of the lottery to normalize. Compare this to my analogy with the weather. Instead of trying to predict the weather on a particular day a few years away, it is more like me walking outdoors and predicting the weather for the next 10 minutes ! I think everyone would agree there is a pretty good likelyhood I'll be bang on! This is the approach I have taken in developing the data for this site. I have created hundreds of "filters" which sift through every possible winning combination of numbers...and the end result is a smaller set of numbers which have better odds of winning.
